Well up and dress we went to breakfast up stairs in the solarium. I like it it’s smaller and not so many choices. I try to control myself but I can’t. Hey at least I’m honest I could not pass by the custard filled donut with chocolate.
Then we went to the diamond lounge I love the coffee I make a cafe latte with expresso shot. We sat and drank it most of it. Then there was the art auction. The auctioneers are three guys who are just so fun.
We get settled in the auction we sit right up front. We walked around to see what’s being auctioned and I stopped at this small painting I just loved. It’s a bunch of ladies together standing near a waterfront with lots of color. Yup I bought it! But, oh stop shaking your head. They have these mysteries. It’s hard to explain. But when it was done I got another tarkay. The ones on my living room wall. I just love those pictures. We decided we are going to get lights maybe tracks or spot lights. Not sure yet.
During the auction they have raffles. Well I won! I got an envelope of copies of paintings, a tee shirt, a gift certificate to the spa, a free painting, and note cards .Crazy I know!
So after that we went back to the room. I feel asleep on the bed. It’s a hard life this cruising! Now it’s time to eat again yeah!
We go to our table for dinner.I had pablano pepper soup. It was a drop Spivey but very good. The for a major entree I ordered chicken Parmasan. It was enormous the size of the plate! When it was done it looked like I didn’t eat. Dessert was dark chocolate pudding.
We then went to the show. We sat on the second floor. They canceled Grease. The show instead was two guys doing things like juggling or riding on of those one wheel bikes. It was suppose to be funny. To us it was not so we left. Rare I don’t seat thru a show.
The great guitar player was giving his own show in the boardwalk outside. Seats we gone. But lucky these two folks got up and left. We grabbed their comfy chairs with a table right in front. Of course he was grand. In the middle of his playing, it started to rain. Everyone went scrambling for cover. Turns out we were sitting under a glass top! We didn’t move.
When that was done we had one drink left. We went to a night club and ordered a drink. A DJ stared to play crap music so loud it was awful. We never drank booze so fast, our day was done. Time for sleep. Thanks again for stopping by.
