Time is so weird when I am glamping. I have to check my iPad or watch to look for the day and time. I bought a day clock for over the door if the electronics die!
I forgot to mention I love my coffee machine, we bought it just before we left. It’s called
BONSENKITCHEN, I researched it, try researching a coffee maker help. It’s like looking for a car! But this one is great! It’s fast, hot, and that gizmo next to it! You pour a bit of whatever you put in your coffee and it gives you choices, latte, unheated, cappuccino. Whips it in seconds! Love it! Been meaning to put this in. Oh and it does all types of coffee, puck and ground.
The new word of RV which are huge like ours 40 feet, with a TV, desk home size refrigerator, oven, microwave, and king size bed is glamping not camping. Others go further and have dishwashers and washer/Dryers. We have the set up to put one in but I don’t mind the huge ones at campgrounds or laundromat.
Well the fireplace is on cause for a few days it was 90 and now the high is 64. That’s a switch!
So yesterday we made plans to have dinner with Els mom and family. We agreed to ordered Chinese food. It was interesting visit. We walked in and was ordered to wear a mask while in the home. If they were aware of test kits that would in my opinion be better.
It was great to see his mom she is 95 looks great! She cooks and goes shopping and goes out to hear music, plays. She goes to lunch.
His brother was there getting everything on the table. It was all put in bowls and reheated. His sister and husband was there. They sat at the far end of the table. The other brother didn’t come even with a mask on, he was not vaccinated. The food was good I had hot & sour soup. I haven’t had that in a while. I also got pot stickers they were good too. El got chicken chow main. All things were cleaned up and we said good by, but not without 3 jars of sauerkraut soup! Ma made them for everyone!
On the way there we stopped at Sams in Gaithersburg, MD. It’s getting fancy. There was a counter like in any up scale food store selling, steaks and shrimp individually. They had really nice sushi so we got some. We drove down Rockville pike. I remembered very little. The more you got to Rockville they are bldg huge apts.
Well it was getting later and we have to get back to feed the kids(cats).
