This is today so I’m on schedule. The day started with my son having issue with doctor appts, and keeping track of meds, and giving blood for the tests. He waits till it’s not nearly enough time then panics. What can I say it’s a continual repeat.
We then got breakfast smoked whitefish on a bagel. One of my favorite. I sat down at my table and finally finished the big folder. Yippee I am on my last one Pasta! The end of scotch taping is near.
My friend who was sick with cancer has passed away. It is never an easy thing to deal with. I pray for his wife to be strong. I’ve been in her position. But with good friends and family to help you the road is easier.
We are visiting Els mom tomorrow. We will go to Rockville and have lunch on the top of her bldg. There are table and chairs, it is nice.
We are picking up sandwiches from a deli. I am getting a chahuzpa (spelling?) sandwich. The sandwich has pastrami and corn beef hot with sauce on Jewish rye! Yummo!,,
I think one bro is coming. Maybe the other will stop by and the sister I think she’s at the beach.
Then it was dinner time. Oh but my friend called and we agreed to meet at a restaurant in a Fredrick. I’m glad I would hate to be here and not see them.
There is my other good friend who is coming Friday. We always have a good time going out for lunch. We were the best buds when we worked at FDA in NY another life ago.
It’s dinner time! I took out pork tenderloin. I roasted the pork and made a mushroom sauce. I then cut up Brussels sprouts and roasted them too. I also made a box of rice and vermicelli which was surprisingly delicious. And red wine, but of course!
Well I’m watching TV and started to tape my last folder. I’m getting crazy doing this. I know it’s not getting I hear you!
Be careful with the sun reaching into the 90s. Do as I say not as I do! Ha
