It’s a visiting day! We are going to visit MA! We up and dress, did my faithful exercises and wear a nice shirt, with jewelry, but of course!
I had coffee, fruit and 1/2 of a bakery muffin. It was very good. I had to get together the jars she gave us for soup. Then the tops we got her for jarring her soup.
Then a bottle of wine and 2 of those insulated wine cups they work too!
We ran into some traffic but it wasn’t to bad. He was getting nervous we would be late! We were fine we met one bro in the lobby and went upstairs to the roof. I should have taken a picture. It is really lovely with beautiful walk ways and plenty of tables with umbrellas, and flower and plants all around.
Mom comes and brought the sandwiches. Mine was delicious with warm pastrami, corn beef and melted cheese with mustard and coleslaw. On the side was potato salad made from sweet potato. oh and don’t forget the pickles. I ate half couldn’t finish. Mom bought a carrot cake that was outstanding! She can make cakes! Then the other bro stopped by to say hi. He didn’t eat either. He too moved his chair away. It was a fine stop to see the family. When we were done eating it was time to go. We hope the one bro has time to visit us up in Gettysburg.
Then came mom and the sister. The one bro hasn’t had the Covid shots so the sister sits away from the table. She doesn’t eat anything. She has a mask, hat and sunglasses and long sleeves, maybe afraid of too much sun.
We stopped at petsmart and luckily found litter and plenty of pro plan for the cats. It has been awful trying to get some due to the shortage of cans! Imagine that!
Then we stopped at ALDIs in the same mall and picked up some veggies like asparagus, green beans and Brussels sprouts with spinach. I’m trying to sip some kombucha everyday. One son told me it’s good for you. It tastes awful sour.
We got back the traffic wasn’t to bad it took us a little over an hour. El feed the cats and thank goodness the black cat finally ate his food! We were getting worried we might have to find a vet for him. He has hardly been eating any food. So my fingers are crossed.
I was going to warm leftovers for dinner but I wasn’t hungry so we had soup instead.
When we were ate moms place and driving around the hi rise bldgs are noticeable.
That’s one shot but there some on the left and right. They are widening all the streets for the apts being built all around. Glad we are gone.
The trip down and back had beautiful scenery of the mtns.
The farms have so much land. The mtns in the background are so nice we don’t see them in Florida. Palm trees is it
Well I’ve tried to get thru my emails. My internet is causing me tension! For lack of a better word! He is watching some show where a guy is sawing thru machines to see how they work…like a bowling alley! Really is this interesting! Maybe to a guy!
