Slept pretty good and the suns up. I get up do my exercises and get dressed. I’m excited because I’m seeing one of my longest friends over 40 years! That’s special!
I decided to have coffee. I wanted to bring my plants outside. I opened the door and it felt like Florida the air was so humid and thick. In Florida you are soaked as soon as you walk outside in the high heat!
I came in and had some fruit with El. By the time we were done my friend was at the door! Perfect timing! We get in the car and drive to the restaurant. There was a spot across the street so we go around the circle and a car took it.
We go around the corner and find a spot. The parking meter is by phone now. My friend tried and tried and could not get into the parking app. So we decide to try a different restaurant. We find it and down the corner on a side street was free parking!
Restaurant 101. It was super small, metal tables maybe 10 two guys running the place. But, it was rated #1 for lunch. The menu is a piece of paper. We both got a tuna sandwich. It was ahi tuna! It was delicious! But, no booze! We had a great time chatting and catching up. Boy, I sure wish she was around in Florida.
oh and she came in a new car! An Alfa Romero yup the real one! Very nice! She kept her prior car a convertible Saab for 20 yrs!
When I got back I was reminded that Giant has corn on sale. I miss my corn on the cob so we went there. I scanned my new diet book. The recipes like all diets have their weird stuff so I stuck to what I would follow and eat. I will start Tuesday. We leave then.
I put all the groceries away and we discussed dinner. He took out sausages so I thought great make onions and peppers and mushroom with some garlic all sautéed and voila dinner! I gave him more than half and then put mine on a small tortilla with some cheese grilled it and flipped it. Turned out yummo! I have been wanting a quesadilla so I did it!
After clean up I started to put my meats in plastic protectors and then in a book. Got it done! Yippee!
But you get the idea! I know it’s nuts! It’s okay I enjoy it!
We drove thru Gettysburg. There were a lot of folks in period costumes. I feel bad wearing those wool uniforms in the heat!

Well I am watching tv and I’m tired. It’s been fun seeing my friends. In fact tomorrow my bro in law is coming in the afternoon. More food and drink. I’m waiting until Tuesday to diet! It’s been like cruising!
