I am so sorry I haven’t written in a couple of days. I am not happy. But, I have a good excuse! I could NOT get internet. I have a jet pack and that refused to let me on. We bought internet that took HOURS just to put on Els computer. In fact today, the 6th it took a while to get it to work on mine! AND. We can only be on individually not together! And one device only! Pretty good excuse!
The only problem with that is I forgot what happened two days ago! I get that it was the Fourth of July. I do remember taking a walk and the place was rather packed. There was at least two big trucks on almost every site. Some even had two RVs on the same site! There were big gatherings in some instances of at least a dozen people! But, we believe that many RVers live close by like within a 2 hour drive, there’s many PA license plates. So it makes sense that groups of family and friends are here. We did not go see fireworks but saw them on TV.
The next morning I was woken at 6am! The nerve! Those that know me I don’t have a heart beat before 9ish! Wow I had to get it together finish putting away the inside and ready to leave by 8:40am!
I just realized I can’t add my pictures. They are in my phone and it would be considered another device! 😫😤
The ride to the next place was pretty. The mountains were just like you drew as a kids one mound then another on top! There was also pretty landscapes, the farms are crazy huge. You can’t see the end of them. Then we went thru this little town that was so old. I love taking pics of the homes on Main Street. One I got was stone another had a round tower on the corner. There are plenty that are brick.
I forgot to mention El was a farmer in another life! He knows what every piece of equipment is used for! To me or a non farmer would call it is a farm machine! He sees one and explains what it is doing every time we see one on the farm land. In PA that’s a lot!
I will add pictures when I can figure out how. We finally got to our campground. It was drizzling rain not to hard. There were more spaces available than we expected so we had a great choice. We pulled in set up. We were both tired we got up sooooo early. I made some pork loin for dinner.
I’m on a diet since the 3rd. I have put on 7lbs! Not that it wasn’t fun seeing friends and family and eating everything! But, the good news I lost 4lbs so far so I’m doing good. I’m using Rocco Dispirito Eat off your butt! I admit I must add my touch to each recipe. He uses these weird ingredients and powders, like egg powder, and has smoothies. To me I need a blender and stuff so that’s out. But I keep well within the calorie requirement. I try to exercise. Every person can do a diet. I know that not every diet works for everyone either. You have to find the one that you can follow and stick with it’s hard to do.
Enough of my rant! We have normal TV meaning we aren’t getting local news. Now we hear where everyone is being shot down. It’s sad. The prices of things are challenging at best. Won’t go there! 500 people cross the border! Maybe we were better with local news.
