Today we decided to go shopping. We need to replace our sink protectors. We’ve been to a Walmart they didn’t have them. Today we try again.
Now this is everywhere. The main house is the 3 windows in the front with the door. Then they add the porch. Then they add the garage the white extension. Depending how many live in it they keep extending the house.
This above is a gigantic farm. Corn goes on forever. They also breed cows many cows. What you see is where they keep the Baby cows when they are born.
When we went into this meat market you would not believe the cuts of meats are so large. Gorgeous! The place was clean you could eat off the floor!
When we were on our way in the parking lot we saw one of these.
Yup the Amish are around! We haven’t noticed them here. But the horse and buggy with the girls in their caps and dresses are a fact.
When we returned from shopping we stopped at the local Amish store. I had to by one, I drool every year and most are gone!

It was a fun day and we did get our sink mats! I hope you enjoy the pictures. I thought there was a country music fest on TV but there is not even a news station here! El is probably quietly going nuts. There are old very old game shows over and over, Christian stations.Oh they have the denominations here! Baptist, Methodist, Catholic and Protestant church’s which are nice looking and old. All near each other. No Jewish Temples.
Well we had a late dinner we bought fresh bicolor corn fresh off the farm at the meat market. It was yummo! I didn’t get into the fritter cause we also bought a cherry pie! There goes my 7lb loss.
