A weird day! It looked black outside with mean clouds! But, no, they disappear and it becomes partly cloudy with sun. So I put my plants outside. After breakfast, at 11:30am. I take a chair out to read my book.
I’m outside maybe half an hour, and the black clouds come and I hear thunder. Bring the plants in put my chair away! But, ah! Rain starts so I felt better.
It didn’t last long. So we took a walk around. It was still partly cloudy so we took a ride to get diesel for the truck. We leave Wednesday for Indiana.
We read there was a Amish store outside of town so we went. It is a discount store with out of date stuff or dented cans. But, the prices were off the wall. For example, I bought 23 items the most expensive was $2.95 a big bottle of pina colada mix. Next was box of coffee $2.50. A huge jar of Israeli couscous $1.75, matzoh .45. A huge bag of Stacy’s pita chips $1.25 It was ridiculous! Nothing we bought was over 6 months. Some were 2 yrs old. It was fun.
When we came back it was nearly 5pm. I made a half chicken for dinner it was yummo!
I finished my book pandoras lockbox. It was a quick read, funny stories about real estate people. Five woman who share their stories.
Well the internet was awful last night so I couldn’t publish my blog. I think it went this morning I tried.
I try to add a least one picture. I can’t believe there is a golf cart dealer in town. The campgrounds now have them for rent. The campers bring them and some are a big deal! I want to say to many WALK!
I mentioned that we drove thru town. It is maybe three small blocks? But, they had these all along the streets. Aren’t they beautiful!
They did this in Hersey too!
