Ok, so I am horribly not keeping up with my blog. I wish I could lie and come up with some justification that I haven’t written in 3 days.
Reality I was bored and there is nothing to write. I have days where I do nothing so there is nothing to write. You gotta be able to relate to nothing days?
I can’t remember Monday so I will skip it. Tuesday was our last day in Ohio. It was very depressing. I kept thinking about Stormy and how is really gone and I’m leaving. Seems weird but he was my buddy. even on Thursday I see him lying by my closet.
We took a grand walk over the entire place. Oh, I just remember hearing a Big Bang and the entire campground lost power! That’s not great when your packing things to leave. It is also rainy every once in a while. It still gets everything wet!
No cars are parked the place gets empty during the week. There are RVs here and there but not many. I’m glad to be moving on.
Wednesday we pack up attach the Rv, go to the dump and set off. Another spattering of rain. Enough to be annoying. It was weird to leave with one cat.
The ride was long but I read my book. The entire trip was nearly all green, farms forever. Corn none stop.
Then there are these little towns for several blocks. They are so cute. How do they live like this even miles apart on a farm.
Well we finally made it to the next place in Elkhart, Indiana. We were supposed to stay at the RV mechanic but there was no place for us. So other plans were made for us. We have been here before now that I’m here I remember. So we set up and move from there.
The next morning we unhitch the truck and decided to go food shopping. First we go to Walmart. This is for paper goods, plates, cutlery and some odds and ends. Then we go to ALDIs for some veggies. Then we go to Martins. I like this store. They have an enormous deli and tons of cooked foods. My favorite is the liquor department. They have liquors in so many flavors. The best selection of bourbon. I even got citrus gin! Yummo ! Add some tonic and I’m good to go! Oh, now I can’t remember the name of the drink. We started on a cruise with ginger beer and bourbon! That’s a double yummo!
When we got back I put away the groceries. I got a bunch of chicken thighs. I hate the fat and veins with blood. So I’m anal and have to remove them. It took quite a while there were 10. Dinner a stir fry of pork tenderloin and veggies with rice was served at 8pm! Sorry about that one!
Well sorry about being awful about writing my blog. Hope I’m forgiven. There are only maybe 3 weeks to go or less. Once again thanks for hanging in there with me!
