8/14 still Indiana

It turned out to be a cloudy day but we decided to take a ride to Ollie’s.

First when we got in the car we saw this humongous RV.

The LUX

It doesn’t get bigger or more expensive! This RV at 48 feet! Is totally loaded is a whooping $399,999! Everything has a price. It even has 2 outdoor porches. One is dedicated to plants

It’s a wow!

We got on the road and there are so many fields of corn. If it’s not corn the other side is soy. A huge crop here

Fields go on and on.

The houses are so far apart either by the farm or back far from the roads. Many of the individual houses are so small.

A simple square

Like my small bathroom. Sorry shouldn’t say that but it’s in fun.

Ollie’s is huge! We have one at home but it is less that half. For example the books, just recipe books, my favorite, were two rows. Kids books went on forever.

It’s more like a giant dept store. I went for coffee. They had a box of 80 dark roast, I’m in! I also went for flavors that I add a drop. It’s instead of sugar. They did not have in store. We found a Meiyer? Not sure of the spelling. That too was huge. We thought it was a grocery but this was a dept store. The had small bottles of flavors, salted Carmel, vanilla bean and hazelnut, I’m happy.

Across the street was a gigantic the Christmas store! I didn’t ask to go see it. I knew the answer would be what, why? I wasn’t ready for that discussion.

Then we took the road home. The town Mishawaka has tons of stores! Things we see in malls are in strip stores, like Chico or Talbots. Then every chain restaurant you can mention.

Well we finally got back and took a ride around the campground. The RVs are 90% gorgeous buses all over $200,000. But, remember this campground is in Elkhart, Indiana and is where RVs are manufactured. Here so many, near all, including us, stop here to pick up RVs, have things repaired, stop to look what’s available. That’s who is in this campground.

After we got back we had happy hour! A drink of wine and I bought one of the sushi packs the stores sell. It was so yummo! Then I made fish and broccoli.

I took out my puzzle and only a few pieces got messed up. So I sat and worked on it. It is hard. Really so many pieces are so close to the same color. It s a test of your patience and ability to assemble pieces. I’m 50/50!

Well those of you who have stuck it out thanks from the bottom of my heart. If you just smiled I hope it is worth the stop. I’m trying to continue writing it everyday.

Enjoy! Your summer, finally we are in the 70s. It’s been really hot. I feel sorry for Europe it’s so hot the rivers are drying up! That’s pretty crazy!

Stay healthy!
