June 16 Friday still Lebanon PA

We start eating breakfast. I finally made muesli in the microwave. You can make it several ways or cold. This is the first time I’m trying it. I have traveled a lot, and everywhere in Europe, including cruise ships, they have muesli cereal at breakfast. Now, it’s not the same, but I did enjoy it. I dumped my fruit bowl and mixed it up.

Anyhow, while at breakfast, my new glasses came in! Oh yeah! We cleaned up and got in the truck, and I forgot my iPad for pictures! It made me mad cause on the way to the store, Walmart, we saw baby goats. They were so cute! Then, we saw baby cows on little spindle like legs, and they are born black and white! So cute!

Then we took a ride to get diesel gas. But, where we were Hersey, it was $4.29 and 4 miles down the road, the same station. Rutters $3.79 now that’s a big difference. I think it was Palmyra. The towns just roll into each other. If there weren’t any small signs, you would never know where you are?

On the way back I saw a little shop with a sign bagels on top. We search for it on the way back. The place was nice and we got 6. They had a huge menu for a small place.

It’s weird getting used to new glasses. Things are a little unclear to the sides. I have to hang in there.

During the ride, I noticed many churches. I started looking for what religion. Wow, they worship the entire Christian group, like Lutherans, methodist, protestant, restoration of christ, catholic was rarer, but I don’t think they have jews.

So. We got back, and it was late already. I decide the frig is busting with leftover contains, so that’s dinner.

We have been watching TV. Actually he watches and I read a magazine or do suduko. But this channel Defy, crazy jobs, like logging in Alaska. Getting alligators in Louisiana, buying storage rooms in Texas, pawn stuff. I should have kept some of the crap I dumped before downsizing and retiring to FL. But, who knew? Oh, driving these huge trucks up switchback roads up in Alaska wi5h no rails. They are all crazy!

I GOT SOME PHOTOS

1. I am continually passing these huge red Maple trees. I always liked them. We had one when we lived in MD. When I sold the house, we took a trip to MD to visit folks. We decided to drive by. Don’t do that when you sell a home. Not only was the red Maple gone, but every piece of landscaping was removed. It was awfully sad.

2. This is Hersey farm, with the grain silos It is gigantic.

3. The last is a B&B we pass all the time like a landmark. It looks so nice I would like to spend a night. However, our glamping facility is down the road!

A B&B Londondary Inn

Well I’m glad i got some photos. I’m still working on it.

Thanks for stopping by it is always a pleasure to know someone reads my travel diary.

  1. You are an adventurous cook — muesli ! I remember seeing it all over Europe and I think I tried it once. Never repeated so I guess I wasn’t in love with it. Is it like oatmeal? Think I’d prefer an omelet.

Don’t you love the term “clamping?” BTW, I told a friend about your description of food as Yummo. She called the other day and said she had a yummo meal:)
