I had museil for breakfast and I am getting to like it. In Europe, it tends to be thicker, but I am good. Well, it’s moving day, so I get the inside and have to find places for Ghost toys, which are not all small. The toaster oven, and the induction cooker. They have their designated spots, but over time, things creep in them. Put away clothes, shoes, and dishes away. The tomato plants go in the shower.
I digested from the blog. It’s grey outside and chilly. I thought I brought a sweater or sweatshirt, BUT no? Really? I assumed it was on board. HOWEVER, there is an outlet mall really close and has both Eddie bauer and Columbia, so I’m good. So we get packed, and it starts to rain a little.
Maybe one of you knows why does the leaves in my husky tomato plant leaves wither. They are thick leaves, and the outer edges are turning brown? The tomatoes are huge, green, and are hidden under the leaves, so the sun barely sees them? I got it cause one of my plants is 3 years, yes 3 years old. Crazy right? This is its 3rd year camping and it looked like death finally. So I got another tomato plant. However, it got jealous and started to grow like crazy again! If they weren’t in the shower, I would get you a picture!
We passed a new trader Joe’s big one. I like that store very much. It’s a bit pricey, but you can find things no one else has, and it’s been great.
Well, we got to Gettysburg, but he noticed tree branches touching the roof on the RV in this site a few weeks ago in our spot now. Oy did he complain to cut them down! I prayed that when we got here, they would be gone. Aahhh. They were cut down.
So we start the set up process. This is the second time it didn’t go right. He had to hook the truck back up and start again. If thats not bad enough it’s raining! It really changes the mood of the day. Finally I was aloud to set up inside open the slides.
We finally settled in to our RV. Thank goodness we have a fireplace and an electrical. heater. It took a while, but we got warm. But, now it’s getting time to eat.
I’m so chilled from the day. We had 1 jar of matzoh ball soup left! Just the thing! I found wonton like things for dipping in the freezer. And we had a piece of German cake that is to die for!
We got it in our Amish store! They have these cakes that are over $20.00, which are totally professional. They had a few they cut in half for selling in the freezer. Wow, does this meet the definition of yummo!
By the time the dishes were done and I zoned out on the TV, it was time to go to bed.
I hope you smiled and enjoyed my story for a crazy day. Thank you always for stopping by. Please stay healthy and enjoy!
