We got up and dressed and didn’t eat much for breakfast. It was a nice day hot but not too humid. The word “hot” has a new meaning these days. Coming from Florida, hot is well up in the nineties with drenching humidity.
So today, it is up in the 80s with a breeze, and I can’t complain. Especially when the half of the country is on broil! The rest is being drowned with torrential rain. It’s crazy. I hope all that read this is safe from heat or rain.
Today, the campground had a beer and chili contest. No, I didn’t enter. But, I could have if I had the ambition. But, we decided to check it out. We brought Ghost in his stroller. We tasted some stuff but were not overwhelmed with any of it. No dark beer. My favorite!
Of course, we sat down where we went to use the internet at the same table it became free. I decided to open the top of the carriage. He was so good and did not jump out. Ghost became an attraction. Everyone who stops by says: He is so pretty, soft, and those gorgeous blue eyes. He just acknowledges each of the complements. Put up his face for a pet.
I just had a cup of soup and a salad for dinner. I gained 2 lbs yesterday, and I was so upset. So today I am watching every calorie. I didn’t even cheat! That’s what gets me crazy! And it will take forever to lose them again. But, see, that’s the thing with dieting. You can never give up! You keep the faith and continue. I will lose these 2 lbs it will be freaking hard, but I will stick to it! Nuf said!
Well, that was the day I read. Did my puzzle, my suduko is done, and I must get another book. I tried to do one with letters? I just can’t grasp the deal on how to do it! Probably, it’s because I’m too old?
