8/4&5/23 Friday and Saturday Park City, KY

Ever loose a day? I can’t even remember what I did yesterday. It was yuck outside, rain off and on. I was lost what to do with myself. I can’t delete emails all day. Then I remembered my puzzle. Perfect day for a puzzle. It is too hard. I sat and starred at it and couldn’t find the mistakes. I almost have the outside edges.

I made some crazy ham dish with pasta and tomatoes and spices and it was OK. I have lots of left overs.

I watched TV old cowboy reruns in black and white. So much for yesterday.

Today is similar to yesterday. But I took a shower. It’s not so easy in a small space you tend to hit the knob and you either burn or freeze. This one was cold.

We had ham and eggs for breakfast left over ham from yesterday. Well, I’m in trouble with one med. It controls reflux. I have one left. So we went to the dollar store and got some tums.We leave this week back to Gettysburg. I’m hoping to see friends and family again. I will have my prescription sent to a pharmacy there. But, for a week, I pray the tums will work.

Oh I finally got a picture of our cotton tail!

Cute bunny!

We filled up with diesel and came back our great outing for the day.

I tried doing emails, then tried doing my puzzle, then watched the 3 stooges. That was actually very funny.

For dinner we had a frozen pizza with cauliflower crust. It was good. But for dessert I tried my fried Amish pie! The crust was good but the inside was like syrup couldn’t eat it. So then I tried this ginger bread cookie. Yuck, very dry. I ended up eating the last humintachen. I probably killed the spelling of it. It’s a Jewish cookie in a triangle shape. That was the last one.

So that’s my story, and I’m sticking to it! I picked a lot of tomatoes. We have a big bunch. I keep picking. I would not want them to go bad.

Thank you for coming by. My days are not exciting and the weather hasn’t been great. Hope you are enjoying your summer! Stay cool!

  2. Rabbits are cute and so sweet to watch. It’s too bad they destroy some of your favorite plants.

Hot here but at least we get daily rain so things stay green.
