It was a very nice day! I took a shower and got dressed in nice clothes. We are going to visit his family for lunch. We left at 11:30am. and had to drive to Rockville, MD. We had not much traffic but the other side of 270 had so much traffic. More cars than we see all year in Florida.

We finally got there and found parking on the street near the back exit. We have a truck which is not easy to park. It was such a short walk to the front.

We got there, and there was a plate with corn beef and pastrami on the kitchen counter. We took rye bread with mustard and put pastrami and corn beef with tomato and onion and made sandwiches.. Then we took all the food upstairs to the roof. There is a lovely table and chairs with pretty flowers around a park like setting on the roof.

It was so very nice there to see everyone. Especially mom, whose 97 she is remarkable. She was in a car accident and her leg has bandages but she seems to be coming along well.

His two brothers were there, and one had brought his divorced wife who is now living with him back in MD from FL. She seems to have lost a lot of weight but is still pretty. I was so glad she was there, but I was tongue-tied and lacked discussion and was disappointed we didn’t talk.

Before we left, we got the ceramic cat. Ma gave us we wrapped it in bubble wrap. She asked what else he wants, she has so many pretty antique things. But, he doesn’t know what to say. She had a beautiful lamp on a table, so many individual things. But what do guys know!

We drove back to Gettysburg, and the traffic wasn’t bad. Ghost missed us, we can tell. We stopped at Aldi to pick up some essential stuff.

I made dinner from leftovers. Some pork loin and cauliflower and peas just enough for a quick dinner.

Well, that was our day. It was pretty nice to see family together.

Thanks for stopping by it’s an honor really for you to follow my days.

Luv ya hope i gave you a smile,

Enjoy!
