We woke up and went to breakfast.we got in Port early, maybe 7 am and leaving at 2 pm. We went to breakfast. I see so many folks eating waffles. I got one! Wow. They are good, but 2x the thickness of a regular waffle. Couldn’t finish it. Then I had my chocolate croissant luv them.
We got our stuff and got off the ship. The other stops had a little town of stores for the cruiseships. This port did the same but made a bit of town to it. There was a band playing in the square. There were restaurants and plenty of places to stop and get a drink and relax, especially along the waterway.
There were many very small shops we went in and out. Oh, diamonds international had a gigantic store with an escalator for VIP folks to go to special rooms. I think it’s a restaurant. It was over the top impressive. I bought a cute turtle in an egg and wooden dolphins chackeies (no clue how to spell it!)
We went back to our room, dropped off our stuff, and went to lunch. It was crowded. You got until two get back on board. We didn’t eat much. We are saving room for lobster tails tonight.
I took a shower. It was nice because it has that rain square and feels good. We go down to dinner. We meet a woman who has a cat. She is from Kentucky. He lives in Wisconsin. Where are these states? Usually, we meet Canandians.
We are seated at the same table by the window. We are having trouble getting the sommelier to refill our wine glass. So it is finally here the lobster tail dinner. We eat our lobster tail dinner. We order another lobster tail, and we are told only one per person! What! We are told that if we want another tail, it’s $20.00 per tail! That’s crazy! Instead, we order beef wellington and duck L’orange. We split the main portion and left the rest. Dessert was baked Alaska yummo!
Then we went to see the show. Three main singers. This one tall girl can sing her heart out, but they are all great. They sang songs from various Broadway plays
Then we went to Effy. It’s my favorite jewelry store. They were having some show. They asked me to strut my jewelry. I felt bad I didnt wear my necklace. But, I did wear my kunzite, and everyone said beautiful
After that, we found where we had listened to jazz the other nite. But tonight was a gutarist. Sang some James Taylor, so it was nice,
This was a late night for us. It’s been a good day. I find it weird that it’s over already. We have been cruising a long time, so 7 days are too short!
