The cat woke me at 7:30am and I could not go back to sleep. Instead I read my book for a while i could not go back to sleep. It’s not fair. The cat is being feed. The day is beginning. I’m tired, I don’t get up this early. I read my book a bit before I climbed out of bed. I have a morning routine. I set the works for a fruit bowl. He cuts us fruit every morning, berries. Strawberries, blueberries and banana.
Then I get my pills for the morning in my pill case. The last chore is the litter. I have to clean it out every morning. He takes it out to the big metal dump. Then it’s my turn to use the bathroom. Oh, there is only room for 1 person at a time. I do my morning stuff then get dressed for the coming day. We are going out today so I put on a little makeup and of course my jewelry.
Breakfast is smoked whitefish with bagel, cheese, tomato, onion and avocado. I love it! Ghost smelled the fish and asked for several pieces. He talks..yes he does! I think he wanted to come. I felt bad we had to leave him. It was cold outside!
We went to Walmart first and got the groceries we needed from our list. We got a couple of deals on freezer stuff like pork tenderloin and pork roast $6.00. Each. Some other deals like a bag of sockeye salmon $10.00. We got some other stuff too.
The ride was interesting going through all the towns. The houses are so interesting. They are so old.
I had to add some pictures. The first one up top imagine owning that house? It was being renovated. It’s huge and old what a specimen!
The second is a typical street housing The houses in a row some with the white column porches.
The next picture is what you see alot. Look on the right side of the street you see the 2 doors.Many houses along the main road in towns have been renovated into 2 homes and have 2 front doors. It’s probably a survival mode.
The last one is the corn fields that go on forever. The corn is so yummo! I love it with butter and salt! We came back put the groceries away. I had a glass of wine before dinner. Luckily dinner was left over again. It was soup, this veggies garbanzo bean mixture, green beans, we must have green at every dinner! Oh, I took out the Amish spaghetti salad. It was yummo! I added black olives. We had white wine from Portugal is was very good. I love getting wine at Trader Joe’s you never know what you will end up their selection is so big.
Well I am proud that I’m writing this on the 11th. It took long enough to catch up. Not that I will remain this way but I hope.
