June 15, 2024 East Stroudsburg. PA

We wake up hoping this will be a good day. He even made delicious pancakes with fruit and maple syrup!  It’s sunny outside. I go to bring my plant outside, but we are in a shady spot. I tell myself that the indirect sun is good, too.  I was going to leave it on the ground. However, there are squirrels everywhere, not to mention blackbirds who are digging thru leaves with their beak. It was funny to see.  It’s chilly when the wind blows. Maybe later, it will warm up.

OH NO!  The iPad and phone is not working we can’t get internet thru the orbit we just spent $hundreds on.  I’m so angry !   After we try everything that we know, which ok it’s limited, we call Verizon. After being on the phone and waiting and waiting, we get a Chinese person. You can tell by the accent.  Yeah! She fixed it.  I updated the June 14 blog and added pictures.

We decide Mr Ghost wants to go for a walk, great idea! We have been coming here forever.  But the good sites are usually full.  We were surprised how many nice sites there are during father’s day weekend. Thinking dad would want to camp!

It is always fun to see how others are setting up their sites. In this campground there are many annual sites. Here are a couple of pictures of my favorite sites.

We have ghost in his walker. It funny how people look twice when they see a white cat! Some adults got to pet him and some kids who were shy..so cute.  We finished our walk ghost went to sleep.

Top of the couch head and eyes going down

I have some time before I start dinner, so I pick up my iPad to see what’s up? NOTHING! Our phones and pads don’t pick up the internet! I could scream, but instead, I started dinner with some beer at 6 pm.

It was a new recipe. Most are new, I always add my own twist, and this one is no different. It basically has sweet potato, sausage cut up, pablano peppers, not too hot. I like them, then sidekick garbanzo beans and spicy stuff! Yummo!  We ate it all.

The phone went off and on. I put it all down and watch Ninja Warriors! They are young, and some older folks are into it.  Sometimes, I think one of my sons could have done this ninja stuff. He has been doing martial arts for as long as i can remember. He even went to China 2X to study with the Shaolin Monks.

Well that’s my day one day I’ll be happy I hope. One day at a time. I tell everyone that because I have a son who had 3 kidney transplants, one is mine, and he beat cancer.  You must learn to deal with that one day at a time. It takes lots of  practice.

Enough of me. Thank you for stopping by. Luv yas, watch out for the sun burn and enjoy!
