We drove thru town to see all the people dressed in civil war uniforms and long dresses. To our surprise, not only were there none, there weren’t any crowds of visitors. Every time we have been here on the 4th it’s been crazy with so many people. There were even parking spots!
We stopped at the store for big bottles of water. The campground is running out. This is NOT acceptable for a campground to run out of water on such a big holiday.
We left the store and decided to go to the outlet stores. It was rather sad to see it going downhill. Last time we came, many stores were gone. Now it seems there are little local shops taking over. But the good news is yes, I did buy 2 shirts. One no sleeve light fabric. The other was long sleeve, a different inside, from Columbia. It was originally 84.99. It was reduced 2x 50% off, and a military discount ended in 11.99. What a deal!
I was feeling better that we bought something at the outlet stores. To go and get nothing is depressing. I know cause one year I went to the Pocono Premium Outlets and got nothing.
Oooh I forgot to mention before we left we stopped at the Pepperidge farm outlet. OMG! I spent $17.00 and got 6 bags of different flavor Milano, 2 big cookie bag, 2 huge boxes of those golden fish crackers and huge bag of pretzels, and a box of wheat crackers!
It was fun going to the outlets left standing. We went back to Tux, waiting our return along with Ghost. He had a tough day with all those people yesterday.
I made sausage and kale for dinner it was good. We cleaned up and relaxed.
Thank you for coming and reading my blog. Hope it gave you a smile. Care with traffic tomorrow. Enjoy!
