The day was great, and I was looking forward to this day. I woke up and took a shower, I’m still learning how to control the cold water. every time you turn it down. Like when you’re shampooing or soaping up your body, you don’t leave the water going. So put it back on, and you wait for the warm water to return.
I only had fruit with my meds. At the time my friend came, I started walking up to the gate. We found each other. She parked so I could show her Tux, our new Brinkley! I’m happy when people come in and find it really nice.
I searched Google for the best lunch location in Gettysburg. It’s getting hard we have been to many restaurants. We got in her fancy Alfa Romero and drove to the restaurant, The gettysburger co.. We found it easy enough but parking. She didn’t like parallel parking, so we rode around till we were back in the town circle and found a front pull in parking meter. I brought my handicap hanger. You don’t pay meters if you have one.
We walked over to the restaurant and got a table. It was crowded and very loud. I got a huge blue cheese burger. I ordered my favorite drink a Kentucky mule! The drink came with a rail bourbon. The waitress came back and said the one I ordered was to be made with makers . Do I want a switch? Hell yeah! Wow, delicious even my friend thought so!
We ate and talked, filling in our life stories. It is always great when you don’t see a great friend for a year and then see them and start talking like it were yesterday!
We got back in the car and I remembered we don’t have a picture. He came out to take some. She got ready to take the ride back to MD. It is so great to see her.
For dinner, he had most of my leftovers with me. So good! Fries to die for! I couldn’t eat much. I’m done.
