He made a lovely omlette breakfast and I finally found my guacamole sauce, I call it my green gook. It’s got a bit of spice and tastes great to me on eggs.
It is not raining. WE DECIDE THAT MAYBE ITS A GOOD IDEA TO DO LAUNDRY. ITS EARLY ENOUGH IN THE WEEK SO IT WONT BE CROWDED. CONSIDERING ALL THE SITES HERE AND ONLY ONE LAUNDROMAT, 6 MACHINES. IT IS ONLY $1.75 PER MACHINE SAME FOR DRYER. COMPARED TO GETYSBURG $2.50. BUT I Did THE GENERAL LAUNDRY BUT also THE SHEETS THIS TIME. OH, AND WE ARE ON A HILL SO WALKING DOWN IS FINE BUT GOT MY HEART GOING ON THE WAY UP…..BUT I FORCED MYSELF TO DO IT AND NOT STOP!
Then by the time we were done and everything put away, and the sheets put on bed which is not so easy when the mattress is enclosed half way up.
It is around dinner time. I made a mussel pasta dish that was amazing. It was my own recipe! I cooked onions, garlic, and peppers first. Then boiled the pasta and added fresh cut asparagus near the end. Then I added the clam juice and a lemon butter sauce. Let that boil then add mussels and more lemon. Then added pasta with the veggies and some white wine. Cooked until all blended and hot. When I served it I added some parmasean cheese and half lemon. Yummo!
I’m not sure what I did after dinner. It was raining at night. I don’t know if we would ever have a rain free day and night. I tried to get thru emails. I’m getting behind. But, I don’t want to deal with this stuff. It will come back to bite me. I know that’s what your thinking. I guess I will continue with my book. It’s extremely interesting, but very long being over 400 pages. It’s a historical biography of a woman Russian sharpshooter. But, I will finish it.
Thank you again you can’t imagine how satisfied it make me when someone reads my blog. Whether you like it or not. Remember, it’s my travel diary for me and I’m sharing it.
