We went to breakfast around 8:45am it closes at 9:00am. There wasn’t the mad dash as usual on regular cruises. So it was fun to pick and choose from the buffet. I had a bagel toasted with cream cheese, salmon, capers, and onion. But, then I took a cinnamon bun, yummo, fruit pineapple, banana, and honeydew. I was done. We walked around the jewelry so many pretty things.
We walked around and found ourselves in line for the Effy owners’ discussion. Two brothers spoke how their father tried to provide for his family. He tried to bring them up, so they wanted to continue the business. He never fired anyone, thought it gave them dignity and respect. He came from Iran.
After that we decided it was lunchtime. Again, there is a buffet of all sorts of food. I had blck olive pizza, India flat crackers like bread with several different hummus. I tried fried breaded polenta stick. I tried a Chinese fried ball of cheese and white rice, I tried a lemon square of polenta with lemon flavor. After trying that, I had ice cream rum raised with strawberry. I’m getting fat.
After that we went back to our room. I sat outside on the balcony to get my 15 mins of sun. It was so nice and warm. While on the balcony, our room, caretaker, brought us a tray of snacks.
We found sparkling metal masks on our bed for to night. I wore my sequined dress. I am already gaining weight. El is trying so hard to be good.
We went to dinner. I had French onion soup with the cheese and bread with onions. Unfortunately, it was way too hot in temperature to eat. For dinner we had shrimp scampi with pasta. It’s c weird not to order wine included with the cruise. Nothing is included. In fact, today, we went to guest services, so we can pay $270 for both of us to access wifi. It wasn’t an easy process, but we got it.
Then we went to the theatre for a singing show. They talked and advertised to get there early. It will be crowded.
But, it wasn’t sure there were seats but not crowded. Too bad, I forgot the name of the woman, but she was outstanding! Her voice was wonderful. What an amazing show. Her voice was so loud and right on top of any song.
We finally went back to the room. I can’t find my special bracelet. I remember taking it out, I thought, i remembered that i packed it, but i couldn’t find it in my room.
El suggested we go get dessert so we went to the shop which has treats. I got 2 one a berry tart and a chocolate cream puff. Yummo! I go to sit down, and he decides he doesn’t want anything. I would not have gotten if I knew he wasn’t. I was annoyed.
It kind of ends the evening. We decided to go back to the room. I was tired anyway, and I try to write my blog the same night. I start to forget stuff the next day.
