San Juan Puerto Rico
We have both been here so many times that we chose not to get off the ship. It’s Ells birthday so it’s his choice. The first thing we did was go to the buffet breakfast. My choices we bad. I ordered eggs. Benedict, it was cold and the muffin hard. I got bacon it was yuck. I saw banana bread. I got up and got a piece. In addition, I got a fruit bowl. However, the fruit blueberries and strawberries were frozen. Even the figs weren’t right. The banana was good, but the bread was yummo! They had different mixes. I got nut and then with Nutella.
After breakfast, we looked around to find something to do. We were out of luck, so we went back to the room and took showers. I got to sit outside on the balcony, I’m pale and need some color. I live in Florida.
We put on cowboy shirts and went out and around. It was fun to see people in boots and hats. El wore his hat. I brought mine and red boots but didn’t wear them.
We went to dinner early and sat by a window. We had shrimp cocktails. We had seafood and risotto. We thought the scallop wasn’t cooked. They brought a plate of fresh seafood. Then, all of a sudden, they picked us up and our plates and moved us to a new table out of nowhere. Turns out the lady sitting behind me vomited her food.
They brought an entire cast of hazmat, spraying wiping cleaning the area. I hope I don’t get sick!!!
Then, the initial entertainment was weird. They paraded a bunch of cowboy hats people were wearing down the aisles, and the audience picked the best. Then they had horses on sticks, and six people moved 12 squares while someone rolled the dice. Crazy.
But, they did have a show, unusual at best. A real cowboy came and showed how well he could spin guns in his hands. It was outstanding. He showed skills with ropes. He was amazing about what he could do with them. All sorts of spinning and cracking them. He was a great show.
We were tired and decided to call it a day.
Thanks for stopping by. i am grateful for your time. I hope it made you smile.
