Today, we got up and went to breakfast in the buffet. Okay, so I’m not going to pig out. I ordered an omlette with veggies. I got a fruit bowl with tea. I’m so happy I maintained food control. I did drool past the cinnamon buns.
Today is an effy auction. I want to go. I did get the book of jewelry book with the items. I then had to get a number and register. I am ready. I figure the procedure is similar to art auctions. Admittedly, I have been to a few. I hear you laughing!! We had to do something and come back to the theater, and the line was huge. The theater hasn’t been crowded. But, there are so many people online. It’s not full.
The auction starts. The majority started around $36,000, 64000, 92,000, and over $100.000. One item started at $$3600. People bought. They did sets of bracelet or necklace with a ring and earrings. The prices were over my head. I already bought my load on my bracelet.
Needless to say, we left after a long time but I could not buy anything.
We decided to bring the stuff to the room and go to lunch. I told myself to be careful. I didn’t. I had half of a Jamaican patty. It was spicey. I had a plant “meatball” shaped item. But then I added a piece of pizza. Then I got dessert 3 different cake squares. We finished, and Ell wanted ice cream. I got frozen yogurt. We ate at the back of the ship.
We hung out and took a walk around the ship. Lots of folks lying around the pool. I guess when you’re from Floida, it’s no big deal.
We dressed for dinner and proceeded to dinner it was Lobster Tail night. It was a small tail, and to order a second was $16.99, really? Our waiter brought us a cooked haddock. He knew the tail wasn’t enough to eat. I ordered Kentucy Mule. It had no ice as a request and was filled to the edge of the glass. The dessert was baked Alaska. It was yummo! But, it was more fun when they lit it in front of you in the past.
We left and went to the theater. I man was giving out missing charms. I collected a bunch. Thought I had all, but I’m missing 3. They make a key chain.
We then went to the theater to listen to songs from Broadway shows. They were 4 people, and they were outstanding. I have to say that the entertainment has been fabulous the entire cruise.
Well we decided to go to our room. But, we did stop to a listen to a live band playing and watching people below dancing.
