Celebrity Reflection
Today was an all cruise day. We went to breakfast at the buffet. We put napkin with silverware and lean the top of the chair on the table to save the seats. It is a fairly typical thing to reserve a table. But, when we came back, a man moved our stuff and put the chair down. Lucky for him, the next table was available, or my NY behavior might have come out! How dare he!
We go pick out our breakfast. I got a waffle with a bunch of fruit. Then I got a bowel of muesli. The waffle was good, but the muesli was sour. I am so disappointed. I always look forward to the ships version it has always been yummo! But, I could not leave without a piece of banana bread it is so delicious!
There is a game with cards today. You got the first card last night. Four times during the day, you had to stand in line with a huge number of people to obtain another card. In the end, you won if you ended up with a poker hand. I got 3 kings and 2 tens. I forgot what it’s called. So we won $200 off an Effy piece and a key chain. In between, we had lunch. I got a small round dish of chicken pie. It was good. I got a taste of orange chicken and a rare slice of roast beef. But, we didn’t finish there we had to have ice cream. It’s so good. We don’t have this at home.
We found a place to sit down in the bakery area. We didn’t get anything. Oh, I forgot to mention. At dinner, when they gave me a receipt for my drink, it wasn’t the same price as the other night. The night before, too, all different prices, same drink, Kentucky Mule! We went to guest services to find out what’s up with that? Turns out, if the ship is parked at a dock, there is tax added. Also, a mule is usually made with a premium bourbon. So one was made with an upscale bourbon, and that cost more. Who knew?
We went to change our clothes it’s black and red night for dinner. I wore my panther gold set. It is one of Effy Signature sets. I have the single panther hanging by its tail for a necklace. The double finger single ring, the bracelet he is holding an emerald. I have the matching earrings. Any Effy employee went crazy seeing the set. It is an original. People on the ship complimented it as well. It was crazy.
We went to dinner, and it was no big deal tonight. We went to the show and it was just so so a magician. We left and tried to find a sales girl who we knew to show her the panther set but couldn’t find her.
We finally called it a day, and we wanted to go back to our room.
