Yup we are still here. We haven’t done much either. But it seems like everyday comes and goes quickly.
I was suppose to meet a great friend from years back. We had to cancel because of predicted thunder storms. Made me sad I wish we lived closer.
Today we decided to go to aldis. It’s pretty new. The ride was strange in that it’s Gettysberg folks! There are hardly anyone on the streets. Everything is painted new with American flags. It’s pretty to see. I was hoping to see someone in costume. We usually see some guide in period clothes.
We got to Aldis and the store is close to empty. We did our shopping only 1 cashier. We thought about going to the outlets. We did a rain check and it showed thunder storms. We went back k to the campground. Good thing too, the sky was turning black coming over the mountain. We pulled in got our stuff inside and the rain began, and yes there were thunder storms.
I spent a little time looking at recipes I pulled from magazines. I put them in folders according to what the main ingredient it is like chicken breast verses chicken thighs. I can see yas going why? I love to cook. I always look for something I haven’t done. I been cutting recipes for many years. It’s a hobby I guess.
That brought up dinner! I made chicken boneless skinless bourbon thighs. Yummo! I added rice and Brussel sprouts. After it was gone I remembered to take a picture. I had a Guinness instead of wine. Now that’s a huge switch! Ha
Well, things are cleaned up and we are, or he is watching TV, car auctions of older cars. He knows each one! I haven’t a clue. So I’m writing my blog instead.
