It’s raining outside you can hear it on the roof of the RV. I decided to read my book before starting my day. I get my Kindle, my notebook. I take notes of books I read. In case I forgot I read it. Or before bookclub to put it back in my head. Or if I’m reviewing a book. I’m fine with it. Set myself up, drink of tea. Open Kindle I’m on page 549? No I’m on page 89! Nooooo. I don’t know how to fix it. I make the letters tiny and back swipe it. Yes, it took a while. I go get the cable to plug in. I open it up and the power is dead. Disappointed! you hear me scream? I grab my suduko to do a puzzle. It tends to calm me, focus on something different. I’m on medium puzzles so I have to concentrate more. It’s about 11:30am time to move on. It’s still raining! I get dressed and get ready for breakfast. El makes me an omlette with mushrooms, pepper, onion and cheese, yummo!!!
After clean up I relax on the couch and try and read my book. It’s charged now. I am enjoying it. It’s a bookclub pick and it’s historical. However, it isn’t the dry description of date, war, names, documents, brief description of relevance. This story tends to describe the people with a character written out like in a novel. It makes it so much more interesting.
I can’t believe it’s 4pm. Where did this day go? It’s been raining off and on all day. There is no one around except the dog walkers. There are two dogs both tall legs, one is white. I thought a Great Dane, but looking closer maybe not. If it wasn’t raining, I’d run out to ask. Maybe tomorrow.
