Another day of rain nearly all day. I woke and since he was still sleeping I will read my book. It went fine this morning so I read about an hour. But now what? You can’t go out. We were told about 60 rigs are coming in for the holiday. Why? It’s either rain or it’s going to be cold. At least for us. 50 degrees is cold in our book down south.

I read some of a Smithsonian Magazine. I tore out some recipes I saved from magazines and put them in their category file. I have 8 categories, chicken, pork, beef, veggies, dessert, sausage, lamb and tofu, and instructions. I did find an article 25 years old. Told you I have been doing this a long time. It listed a long statement of foods and next to it what wine to drink. It was specific. Not red or white. Interesting.

Breakfast was a waffle with fruit. I have to have a teaspoon of maple syrup. I can’t give everything up!

We had to change plans around for the next two days. There is more rain. However, I want to see my friends. His family thinks he should visit with them. Both are good choices so we moved things around so we could do one Sat and one Sunday. Maybe Monday we can visit the outlets. We leave here Tuesday.

It’s hard to get anything to stay on the TV. I have tried to attach pictures but the wifi is not strong enough. I’m hopeful as we move on I can make it up to you!

Dinner I made a new recipe. Salmon with an orange. However the sauce was strange. It had sugar, chocolate cinnamon and smoked paprika. Topped with butter. Baked for 20 minutes 400 degrees. Yummo! It looked good too! I added green beans and couscous.

Everything is cleaned up. Our dinners for the weekend are set in place. I will probably gain 3lbs the ones I worked to remove. It’s not easy. Especially when you have a husband who can eat anything and not gain weight. This is my 2nd husband with the same weight issue. Eat what you want and don’t worry about it. I’ve been punished my whole life. I look too long and drool ah 5lbs. If I’m lucky a month to remove it.

We are watching American Nija Warriors. I think sometimes in the past one of my sons would try it. One son was into martial arts for a while. He went to China to study with the Monks. He came home with a 2nd place trophy

This is all the news that’s fit to print tonight. I know it’s not exciting. What do you expect? I’m in a camp site, in an RV, yes it’s clamping, but there is not a lot to do.

Thanks again for stopping by to read my blog. My heart goes out to you. Hope I made you smile.

Enjoy and stay healthy!
