There was a bit of rain. However, I couldn’t fall asleep last night. I even did a suduko medium puzzle. I usually can shut my mind down if I focus on one of those. It did not help. I must of eventually awoke with a scream. Wake up saw told, don’t remember what time. He seemed a bit in a hurry. He is focused on packing up all the stuff on the outside. He is precise so I let him do it all. He knows a lot. He is live camper encyclopedia. He so enjoys talking to every other man about their RV troubles. There is not a brand that doesn’t have issues.
Breakfast cereal so we are going out. Cereal is a quick breakfast to get moving. We are going to Giant food store. Why? We started going there but ran into the parade route. We saw military trucks go by. Turn around and find a different route.
Yes, we are going to the outlets. Wow, a lot of stores have gone out of business. However, I had a good day. First we went to Columbia. They had shirts 2 /$25. So great, I got 2 one has a polar bear. The other a weird scene, I like the colors. Then, just in case the cold weather returns I got a valor shirt in a green pattern. They are $65 and I got it for $15.00. I am happy.
We walk some more and there is a talbot. I found 2 long sleeve shirts each labeled 38.00 already on sale then an additional 60% off. However, it went they were $15.00 each. Then El found this very pretty red almost a silky feeling fabric, cruise wear, and by the time that was reduced it was $17.00. What a deal. I also went into bed and bath they too had a great sale I got hand sanitizers for the holder on my purse.
There is a pepperage farm store. It was off the side. It has since moved to the main street. They had such deals. The little bags were $2. The bigger bags were $3. Then they had sales on their flavor fish cracker shaped in a fish. We left with 2 huge bags of stuff. The deal if u bought $20 you got additional 20% off. We have enough stuff till the end of the year!
There was one other store I wanted to check and that was Vera Bradley. There stuff is cute. I saw a purse it was like $85 and it’s fabric but t had the right pockets and was not big. The they had wallets with lots of card holders and pocket for phone. I decided to get both. The deals were crazy. I got both for $25.00 I thought it was worth it.
Oh, I forgot we stopped in a chocolate store. We didn’t see the chocolate. Iinstead they apparently coated cashews with a crunch and it was so delicious that we bought two bags of that snack. We finished one buy the time we got back. He had the majority.
On the way back we stopped at the giant food store. I wasn’t sure why but ok. The first thing we got was sweet corn on the cob. A memorial day requirement.
Well, the rain stopped and it was in the 60s. How nice it felt. We drove back. All the parade is gone. One restaurant I wanted him to slow down so I can take a picture of some dressed in period clothes. He went by to fast. I missed a camera opportunity.
We are back at Tex. I put away all the food. It’s dinner time. I decide a salad as I take everything that goes into a salad out of the frig. I make 2 big salads and corn on the cob in the microwave. Yup it’s yummo!
