We get up with purpose since we know we are moving to another campground.
NOW, the first thing I did when it was 10am was call Vera Bradley about my left purchase. She was sweet and indicated it was there for me. MY dear husband offered to take me back to pick it up tomorrow. She agreed to hold it for me.My heart started to beat again.
I start my detail clean everything up. Nothing is left out. The chairs go on the bed. Table items go in draws, kitchen sink is filled with stuff. Stove area has to sit a certain way so nothing can fall. The couch has its own issues and holds the floor coverings. Al. Doors and windows closed.Then check the bathroom and bedroom. It’s not so easy as it sounds. He finished outside to a point. I have to bring in the sides. Always pray it goes easy. That I put down the tracks. Good job.
I have risen in my job. I get to put the stairs in. And put the banister away. Not easy there is this metal piece that goes thru all parts to lock it. OK so let’s see you stick this metal piece thru at least 4 pieces of metal with a tiny hole. I got it! Yeah me!
Then I try and work the mechanism that runs the RV moment. I’m getting there it’s a learning curve. I can gather the wood and chucks? And plastic one. I’m getting it.
Finally, on the road but it is not a pleasant ride with so many bumps. Then there is traffic and the big trucks. It’s not a long ride maybe about 2. 1/2hrs. You don’t pick your site. They give it to you. We got a nice one at the bottom of the hill where you can see the huge pond. Plus the # of geese is huge.
Before we got there we stopped at our favorite food store ever. The Country Store. They have an aisle where everything is marked down to a ridiculous price. For example, we got brand name box of crackers $1.49. Can of pinto beans $1.19. A 4lb bag of deli cheese left over or ends, different American, munster, Swiss for $4.01. 4lbs of pastrami $4.09. I could go on but things are even .49. We bought 3 boxes worth of goods for $50.80. Insane.
We set up. TASKS are opposite now it’s set up. I have to wait until he removes the truck from the RV. The feet are down. That the electric is plugged in.
Then I can do my stuff. I can put the handle down. Then bring the food inside. 4 boxes is not an easy for an already full frig. I bought a huge pizza for $2.99. It was so big I couldn’t fit it in the frig or oven. I cut it half. It was fun putting some healthy stuff on it like onions, mushrooms, peppers,olives, whatever I could find. Yummo!
I guess I was overwhelmed with my dumb move and other stuff I had El make me a Kentucky Mule. So yummo! I felt better. However, I had my glass of wine too with dinner. I was let’s say a bit tipsy. I forgot my blog. Although I did mention it. I hit the bed and was gone. It happens. In the middle of the night I had a headache! Ummm
It was an interesting day always when you move to a new place. I like this campground. It is great for a long walk. Hopefully the r won’t start again please no.
