I got up early 7:30am, yup for me that’s early. I wake up at 9:30am usually! I’m retired and can sleep! Well, I decided it was too early to get up. I got my book and read some. I read and the book is hystorical, misses nothing and doesn’t move pages quickly. There is so much history the author misses little.
I finally get up around 10am. I do my bathroom routine, but decide to do my face machine. It’s 10 minutes. Is it working.? I can’t be sure, it doesn’t happen overnite.
We have breakfast i got small slices og cinnamon raisin bread. El made french toast. It is so yummo! I even add a 1t of maple syrup.
There are a lot of geese here. Alot like 40 or 50 huge crowds. They travel in a couple of packs. They happen to like our corner so El goes out and shoos them away. They are defiant and don’t leave automatically. It so fun to watch.
El had to go to the country store again. It certainly was not stocked full as we usually find it. It is odd. But, there is always things to buy for dirt cheap. A box of pita crackers, cans of beans .99, crackers 1.99, wasa crackers .99, . We bought 13 items for $17.00.
all this for $17.00. Really!
We came back and these geese are all over our campsite. It’s cute but not. They leave their poop everywhere and who wants to step on it.
you can’t possibly capture all in one shot. There are around 4 dozen or more. They travel with a mom and dad. TherIe are the big ones who watch while the babies eat.
After I put the groceries away I have some time to relax. I pour some port wine and look at my emails and internet stuff.
Time to cook. I got some ideas and made a Latish dinner. Basically, I made fresh linguini with onion and spices with lemons, garlic, peppers, and white wine and butter with fresh clam meat. YUMMO! I made fresh broccoli on the side.
We finally stopped at this farm that sells fresh pies Fri and Sat in a stand. I have been asking for years to stop. We’ll, he finally did. Two small pies $10.00. Blueberry and shoofly pie. We tried the blueberry. It was like he told me. The filling was like a jam from a tube. But at least now I know.
We tried to watch TV. It is still Spanish. HE got English for a minute or two. As soon as he touched the TV remote it went to Spanish again. It’s awful.
I am now writing my blog. The day went fast considering I didn’t do much.
However, a miracle I have added a photo or 2. I’m trying to send them. I find I can’t even send response to messages.
