This morning I woke up early and read thru a Travel & Leisure Magazine. I don’t know how I get it. I like to travel yes, but they are writing about hotels. I do not spend $1,000 To $2500 for a double. But, I push thru it. Breakfast dressed and it’s only 11:15am! That is early for us.
We decide to go to Roots which is an animal and produce auction house and farmers market. It was recommended by this lady we meet. We stumble into the auction house. We manage to get to the back. There are all these geese, duck, swans, roosters rabbits ginnea pigs all chirppin together. It was crazy!,, see picture below.
Above was a meat market in the bldg, Beautifully cut but expensive. In fact with all the produce we found it to be pricey. I have pictures of the animals in cages below.
The Amish moon pies and other pies were everywhere. There were pulled meat sandwiches too. Aside from that there were veggies everywhere. It was packed but we thought there would be more Amish. The women in their dresses and boys in their hats and suspenders.
The ride there was Interesting we took the long way to get there. These little towns with the houses packed together with 2 front doors. See below

The ride there we saw such gigantic farm lands. We saw homes with enormous stacks of wood. We are guessing they start early for winter. Although, the 50s here at night we have our RV fireplace on.
I got a lamb gyro to eat on the way home. El got nothing. It was so big I ate 3/4 of it and put the rest in the frig. We had to stop at the country store. We only found a couple of things. El loves that store you just never know what they will have in stock. This weekend is a celebration so there should be goods things to buy.
Dinner? We have the half of pizza in the freezer. I take it out and put the kitchen sink on top. It was yummo! I only finished 1& 1/2 a slice. Full from my gyro.
