There is only one thing to write about today! We took the 45 minute drive to SHADY MAPLE BUFFET! It is by far probably the country’s biggest buffet. I have so many pictures to share just on the ride alone. You just don’t see these beautiful things in Florida where I live. That’s not to say Fiorida doesn’t have it’s own beauty.

We passed mountains that look like half circles into each other like you drew as a kid. Actually driving up and down mtn roads forests on either side. Driveways going straight up to somewhere avhome on the mtn! there houses that are three stories, and all this big brick homes that have 2 front doors. Then these farms that go as far as you can see. Miles of chicken houses. Cows out to pasture. But, we saw lambs and goats and horses. We even passed an Amish horse and buggy. We have seen them before alot more in Lancaster. The towns where all the homes are smack next to stores for one long street. There are homes stuck in the strangest places. But, when you think this is a beginning state these places can be 250 years old!,

I will add a few pictures! But I might have to spread them over a few days or they won’t go.

We get to shady mapleand parked in the banquet area, but walking thru, it’s gorgeous in the hall ways. We got a table on the end before booths. Thank goodness cause we can find it after we get food. It’s prime rib night. There were alot of people. But the prime rib is to die for and the portions are insane, El ate 2 and I finished nearly 1 whole slice. However.thats not all that’s delicious! I had 3 plates of food! I also tasted fried shrimp, a scallop casserole, fried chicken. Then side dishes I tried brussels sprouts, beets, coleslaw, some crab dish, and others. All were delightful. Then the desserts. There was an enormous baked apple with a dough covering. I cute one in half and added vanilla ice cream. But, I also took a piece of ice cream cake. They were all yummo!

We ate for 2 hours. I couldn’t move. I wanted to see their gift shop but he didn’t want to go. They have a store too but he didn’t do that either. We drive back the scenery just as pretty.

I got home and couldn’t move. I ate enough food for a week. I went to lay down in bed cause I couldn’t fold myself in half to sit. I just enjoyed and didn’t think about it until I got home.

I might have fallen asleep. I remembering thinking I will write my blog tomorrow.
