Yes, we came back to Gettysburg! Up early we are actually hooked up from yesterday. We are bringing Tux(RV name), he is black and white, for service. There are a list of things that need repair. One being the a/C. First, I must add this day was stressful. I’m not a stressful person but this day got there.
We get there park and waìt for someone to come get the RV. We remove the truck. The first thing is for the 2nd time, Brinkley sent them the wrong part for the A/C. WHAT???? stress starts. The story of this RV has been going on for too long of time!
They take the RV back to repair other things. We take the truck across the street. It is a gas station, liquor store, sandwich shop and food mart. We get a bagel, egg and sausage sandwich. The coffee was excellent. We walked around to kill time. The beer case is huge! My son would love it cause one wall is all different IPA beers. I think that’s his favorite. I think they are bitter. I like dark beers like Guinness and we bought a 6 pack, bottles. They sell everything, all sorts of liquors and wines.
We go back and decide to look at small RVs. I think my son would like one. He is always camping. A small RV would be nice. So just looking we found a really nice one. Then we walked thru the shop. El stood in front of the hoses with connectors forever. Help! It’s not right for me to get antsey. But I’m like I want to go. Eventually, we got back to check on the RV. Turns out they found the A/C. Part. WHAT???? NOW THATS CRAZY!
I go into the waiting room. I know it too well. It’s not the best. It seems warn and old. We wait and are somehow asked to go out and look while it’s in the bay area. I don’t go in, inwaitboutdide garagecdoor is open. I will get more stress listening to it all. My husband can talk RVs forever.
I met the mechanic and he seems extremely smart and knows RVs. He followed Els every word! We wait and the bill comes in with the head man. El starts talking Tux. Help I want to go. We eventually leave.
We get to camping site pull in. El can’t get the RV perfectly stable. It took forever doing the same thing.The foot up and down. Help. After I don’t know how long till he is finally done. I can lift the bars! That is strength!
FINALLY…..I’m inside and do my stuff. Set up. The A/C in the bedroom works. It will be cooler but the noise is ridiculous. But, better than none.
I made dinner which actually turned out good. I made chicken breast with a real good sauce, can’t remember the ingredients with broccoli and corn, oh and wine! for me,!!!!.
After dinner I am exhausted too much for one day. I think I went to bed and starred at the TV.
I have to apologize for June 7th. I don’t know where it went. I hate that when it disappears and I can’t find it.
ANYHOW, thanks sooo very much for even reading thru this blog. It’s just a complaint. I can’t imagine you smiled but rather shook you head.
