I woke up early around 7:30am, for me this is early. I got my book and started to read. It is about President Abe Lincoln. It is very good, but history packed and I can only read so much at a time.
It was 9am when I got out of bed. I’ve been frustrated with this 4 lb gain. Today I take charge and no snacks. I also decided I got to exercise and I did for 25 minutes! I’m hanging in there.
We are going to the food store for the missing items. They have a new Aldis and a nice Giant. We drove thru Gettysburg I think the heat limited folks from going out. We went to Aldis and bought what we needed. And no frozen it’s filled up. They put new condos in next to the store. Last time here we had to go only one way out. That mean u need to do a turnabout. But wait, we see a sign to go the other way from a different road. We followed the signs but before we got to the road we saw a sign for a Giant! These people can walk to either store, what luck! We went in and did our shopping. I even got the little jars that make food tasty. Artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, sun dried tomatoes. They help make meals yummo!
We came back and put my plants out. So far fingers crossed they are doing well. My basil, 2 tomatoes. I got a 2nd cause the first was from home and was dying. However, I kept cutting off the dead stuff and miraculously it’s alive! Oh, then my dearest avocado plant I started from a seed at home. It’s happy!
I tried to up load a photo. I will keep trying. We came back and of course I put everything away. My refrigerator inside can’t breathe. It’s totally filled.
Then it was dinner time. I made a new recipe for Cod fish in a coconut milk and peanut butter sauce! I know seems weird. There were other ingredients.oh fire roasted diced tomatoes. It was delicious! I added a purple sweet potato. That’s a no for me.
Well that’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Thanks so much for reading to the end. Sometimes, I just ramble on. But, isn’t that how some days go?
