The water has been cut off. There’s nothing like going back to primitive camping again.
After breakfast, we went to the store to get water jugs. But, while we were there, we found the bakery reduced rack. Oh my! I want everything. It looked like they just brought it out. We did some damage. For supper we ate the raspberry coffee cake Yummo!
We took a walk today, and it was sad to see that seasonal sites didn’t have anybody there. There were many sites open. We walked past the cabins, and 4 were for sale. Many were not occupied. What is happening to camping. We ended up talking to a couple of guys working on some golf cart. They, too, noticed a difference in attendance at the camp grounds. This week coming it should be crowded for the fourth of July.
El was looking outside and started yelling look outside. I grabbed my camera and went outside in my slippers. A family of deer was across the street. MA PA and 2 baby deers. I will try to add the pictures, but I’ve had no luck in this campground so far. The babies were so cute with their tiny white dots.
I finished reading my book. It took forever. It’s very long and the research that this author did to write is incredible. Not to mention the documentation listed at the end of the book. It is the life of Abe Lincoln in absolute detail. Haven’t decided what is next.
