What a crazy fun day! We took a slow start but after breakfast we decided to try aldis and Giant food stores. They are close to each other. We get in the truck and follow the GPS and all of a sudden we are lost. BUT, it was such a pretty area. Winding streets, huge trees the trunks were huge. The houses were old in some places. However, there were this huge homes that were so pretty on huge properties. We were sorry when we eere led back to the main street.
We went to Aldis first and got tons more then our list had on it. Why I can’t just buy what’s on the list and be done? You like that too? My frig is already stuffed. Then we went to Giant. It’s a huge store. I enjoy walking around there.
There is a wine and beer section. But, if you buy it, you pay right there for the booze and take it to your car, then you can continue your shopping! It’s weird!
The store is laid out so nice and everything is labeled to the big signs on the ceiling to the list on the aisle. We went and bought some stuff. I had to get dark chocolate covered dried banana. To me that’s decadent!!
By the time we got home and put everything away and changed and got the recipe I was going to use for dinner and started it was nearly 6:30pm. I don’t like starting late. We started eating after 7pm. But, it was yummo! I made cooked chicken breast with spices, garlic, butter and fire roasted tomatoes. I added peas and quinoa.
Oh I almost forgot to add something! When we drove back to the campground and we were about to turn for our RV we saw a bunch of deer! A big long leg male, and smaller female and perhaps 2 children. These didn’t have spots like the other night. But their legs weren’t as stable and quit thin. Such a treat to see them right in front of our truck.This was the days great event.
I AM UPSET I CANT UP LOAD PHOTOS HERE!!!!!!! We leave in 5 days, on Monday July 5th. Honestly, I’m ready to move on.
