It is moving day. I was happy because these folks are still without any power. The amount of trees down were so many. We thought they should trim the branches away from the power lines. Of course, we live in Florida, and the entire population of the trees in the state would fill one town. They have what too numerous to count! But it sure is pretty!
The ride was OK, fields of growing corn and other veggies or hay. The homes were huge. But, they are so far apart. What if you need help with something? Your neighbor seems to be in the next town?
The route was nice but then all of a sudden it was 2 miles on this road, and the road splits, different numbers change. I think it was around Akron. But, with me being the navigator we made it. Except for the detour! It went on for miles. However, by the time it ended, he knew where we are located. It’s funny he remembers a stone in a campground. Remembers every detail. Ask where is the Tower of Pisa? He can’t remember Greece? It works, he remembers the camping and I remember a lot of our cruise destinations.
We got to our campsite and set up no issues went fine. We went for a walk, from our site we can see the river so it’s nice. The place has changed in that a large portion was sold to seasonal RVers. They pay for all season. It’s nice it used to be every which way but now it’s coordinated where the RVs are located.
However during our walk, you never know what you will see or hear. We stopped at this one site on the river. There was blue grass music! Well, 2 guys one guitar one bango singing and playing. What a treat they were so good! We just stood there and listened to them play.
We got back to our site and there are 2 RVS facing each other. It had to be a huge family. They had a large pork butt on a rotisserie! I think potatoes in foil on another grill. Maybe a dozen folks and kids. They were having a good time. It’s nice to see!
Our dinner was leftovers everything I could find I heated up. We had a huge watermelon that was calling eat me! And we did! It was so sweet! And it fit in the frig!
Well that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!. Thanks so much for stopping by to read my blog.
ENJOY! Take a walk you never know what you will see or hear!
