I slept late relaxed no stress I’m good finally! I finally got up thinking a slow day do nothing. BUT NO!!! El says we must go to Walmart, then Aldis. They are in a different town. Okay I’m up for a ride.
Well these farms, stretch as far as you can see, they are gigantic! Then we went thru these small towns. We took the back roads. Some are as tiny as a big bathroom. But, the huge ones are first built on a small mountain and go up three stories. Some are so old put have been kept up and I just am awed by their size. I hope I can transfer some pictures.
This town we were going thru Ashland is very big. We went thru the main Street and it was like all small towns. With all the stores packed together with houses in-between. But, get past that and there is a thriving shopping are that’s crazy big with the lastest.
We found Walmart and it is the biggest we have ever seen. You can barely see the other side. We got a few veggie items. But my Kindle eReader doesn’t want to work anymore. I tried to download a book and it told me i can’t do it I’m too old. Just great! I figure Walmart sells everything! NO NOT ANY AMAZON STUFF,!!!!! A sales person told us.
We leave and go to Aldis we need strawberries. He makes us a fruit bowl every morning without fail! I’m lucky yes? They have strawberries, not organic, he is big on organic everything. However, he got some anyway.
Well to my surprise he looked up where is a Best Buy? Turns out it’s in the next city. We go there and I’m researching the best Kindle to get. I come up with signature paper white? The sales guy says, that’s 2 years old and they no longer sell it! I go with the color added one! Yup had it a $100 more than paper white but what the hell. I got a green cover. I’m good we drive back to the RV. So much for being alone we have neighbors on each side. A cute pop-up in our front….right side. So cute, we started there many years ago.
It is dinner time and I took out thin chicken cutlets. I made them with a different recipe. A mix of mustard and honey. Add on the surfaces. Then a panko and powder peanut butter on top. Yummo! I added corn on the cob, and asparagus.
We took a walk around thought there was a wedding being set up with this huge white tent. We asked a guy and he said his family eats in it. Wow a very big family. The weekends are nuts here so we will see.
Thank you for coming to read my blog. My heart goes out to you for taking the time. Luv yas
