Today is suppose to be laundry day. We get ready and gather all the laundry like the kitchen towels and bathroom towels. They don’t make it to the laundry bag to often..

We bring them to the laundry room which is tiny and uncomfortable. There are only 3 washers and only one dryer works. To top this off there are already people waiting.

Immediately I leave get my phone to look for one in town. I get my Google map for directions and off we go. One issue we went the wrong way! HOWEVER, it was such a treat! The farms were spectacular so huge and go on forever and so green. Some are up and down huge hills. We went miles before seeing another home.

We even entered a one way dirt road. El did not like this feature. It was narrow and you could not see because it was straight up and down hills. It had a scary edge.

I did finally get us to a real road. We were in Mohican country. We passed an area where a castle is located and a mill. We past a beautiful campground and a really nice state park. It took us 49 minutes extra but so worth it. I hate to add we went full circle and it was close to the campground..that’s for future knowledge!

The story doesn’t end! We find the laundromat and it’s got the huge machines. I pick an average one $ 7.50 a wash! Hey 1 machine was $10.00 I think for 40lbs! Huge.

When I finished putting my clothes in an elderly lady said you put the box in. I barely understood her. I thought she meant the laundry pucks? So I did my wash. When it was over I started taking everything out and low and behold I start removing dryer sheets! Yup, the old lady was correct my box of laundry sheets feel in. I met her by the dryers and she said I should have listened to her! Yup she is right.

We packed everything up and back to the RV to put it all away. I had a gin and tonic to settle my nerves.

Dinner time luckily we bought the pulled pork from that upscale store so I had dinner. I added corn on the cob and some veggies. It was a fun and crazy day.
