What happened to yesterday? I know my blog is sometimes boring. I get it. But yesterday took the cake. I did nothing to write about. When I got up and had breakfast I started on my Gmails. We are taking 3 cruises. I am literally confusing which goes where and when?
The first is an ocean crossing on Celebrity ascent. It starts in Rome. I try not to take ship offered excursions. I prefer my own guide, maybe cost more, but we love the personal touch. So, I got one tour for that trip.
Then I tried to tackle the next cruise around New Zealand. I’m excited about that as we haven’t done much there. I got a guide to take us around Tasmania with the animals.
Then I started to map it so i know where we are going.. But, El got a call from our travel agent about a fee. for changing our return to Orlando from the transatlantic cruise. The way they booked it we would wait 7 hours before flight. In order to change it there was a $100.00 fee. We issued a complaint.
I made a dish of tofu and veggies and rice for dinner. I was done.
JULY 16, 2026 STILL HERE LOUNDENVILLE, OHIO
He decided that we need to go to the food store we are out of bananas.ok that’s just fine. But, we have to get the honeywagon to dump our tanks. Our travel agent called asking for the $$. El complained and ask to speak to an airline manager who sets up the flights.
We go the supermarket called Stakes. It is expensive like corn on the cob $.89 really every place else has them for $.39. Just an example. But, we walked around and tried to get what we needed I made a list. They didn’t have fresh spices, low calorie coconut milk, clam sauce and few others. I will have to make do. We are leaving here Tuesday. Only 4 days left. It’s very humid today. Reminded us of home.
Before dinner we took a walk around. Turns out this weekend is going to be full. Rvs are coming in and the sites are getting filled. We met a man whose trailer was from 1937! Imagine and its still going?
I made dinner which turned out yummo! I made sausage, onion, garlic, black olives, the white beans, and green fried tomatoes. Then kale is added. It was great!
Now we are just watching all the new comers for the weekend. We also saw tubes,, canoes, and other floating things coming down the river.
