It was a very, very long day. We got up and got ready to leave. We left about 11am. We drove at least 5 hours. Some roads were so awful I thought my ne would break. Literally jumping out of your seat going up and down. Then the massive amount of huge trucks on the road. It was not nice. Also, the horrible amount of construction. Indianapolis was a terrible place to drive. Major roads were closed. The traffic was nuts.
There were Corn fields that stretch for miles. We thought PA had plenty. No this state had the biggest by far. You couldn’t see the end. We did by food a sandwich and slice of pizza.
We finally got to our campground and found our spot. It was not level but El persevered and managed to work it out. But, there was no one there from the campground for help, They have a very nice food menu but they were closed. At least, we had left overs for dinner. In addition we didn’t have to unhook!
We finally settled in. I have a splitting headache. Don’t want to do these long days again.
