Another long day I can’t take these 6 Hours of truck driving. I use to do it. But now, my legs hurt, my neck is sore and my feet burn! Am I getting older or what!
Today, or was it yesterday, he told me to use my keys to unlock the RV door. I am strong enough to do the stairs and banister. Trust me it’s not easy. Im getting strong like moose! Ha! I used my keys and I messed up the locks on the door. El was patient but I saw the smoke. I screwed it up and locked it but good!! We couldn’t open the locks. .Luckily for me he finally got the door unlocked.
But, life moved on. We went thru 3 states. Started in Indiana, across Ohio, then across a tip of West Virgina and ended in PA. Ya and it was fun up and down the truck jumped. For long periods of time.
One thing I noticed was the lack of mountains as we moved east. There are trees for sure but not the mountains. We stopped for lunch at one flying J I wanted Pizza, but I already grown a lb. So I got a sandwich and ate 1/2.
It was time to get off the main Hywy and follow instructions to the RV campground. Well we were following what the AI told us. He even wrote out instructions. Problem was the instructions were wrong. We don’t know why but he felt we had gone to far.
We turned around and past the exit we got onto the hywy then continued for 1 exit and it was correct. Right there a left another left and we were there. The instructions had 2 extra turns? We’ll we got there Yeah!
We got in our site did some fixing for perfect balance. A man from the RV next to us, a silver one, Alumiscape, a big one, said he wanted so much to help us set up.
I went inside and started dinner it was headed for 8pm. I finally got El in and we ate at 8:30pm. Awful for me because sometimes my stomach acts up. But I cross my figures no please not tonight. .
This place is owned by a hunter. His information office has stuffed animals he has shot. OmG. What a collection, they are beautiful. I will share my pictures.
I made flounder In a basil lemon sauce, with corn on the cob and frozen peas. Pretty easy on a late night. We ate, could not get the TV to work.
