Got up early with no breakfast or coffee. I get it together, put everything away. Tux, the RV, has a Doctors appointment to fix a window that blew out while we were driving. We are there by 8:45am. I don’t get out of bed yet at that time.
They take him to the operating room at 9:30am. We wait for the papers to be signed and the talk of everything blah blah. Finally it is 10 am and we are done.
Now across the street is a great place. It has a tiny deli in the back very good sandwiches, it’s a Liquor store, all sorts of stuff you’ve never seen. And a small grocery and coffee shop. The coffee is very good. Oh and a gas station too.
So we each got 1 of the sandwiches and I had coffee. We got one of the 4 tables. Then we walked around the Liquor part. Amazing how the flavored Liquor comes in all flavors. Like, vodka, gin, rum, whisky and even bourbon all come in flavors. But, we did not get any.
We get back to the doctors office. Tux is still there. You figure and hour for lunch. So by 1;30pm. It should be done. But, I was wrong it was done at 2:30pm. I sat outside on this dirty bench. The thought of going inside on a beautiful day in one small waiting room was a no for me.
Tux is done but now we have to hook it back up to the truck. I think that takes about a 30 minutes. We are back on the road. It’s around 4pm. We now have to set up the RV cause we are camping and remove the truck and level the RV. That takes a good while but we do it. BUT,! the mechanics locked the two keys on the front door. We only use one and we can’t get it open. He tries every which way and can’t do it. He disappears for a while and got the mechanic on the phone to help. He told him whatever and he got the door open. But, the terror and frustration and heat added up. I’m not happy.
Now, it’s too late to start dinner it after 6:30pm and we have to do grocery shopping. We get in the car and I know some p,aces we can stop and eat. Wouldn’t you know those places are packed with no parking in site. Ah, we come to the chinese buffet we know and love. 3 maybe couples are there. But, come on in! It was a delicious buffet. It was not crowded hardly anyone there. And we learned we could bring our own beer! Why didn’t we know this before!,,,,
Well since we were half way to the grocery we would go. We went and we both got freezing cold it was awful in the store. We ran thru to get the stuff we needed. But, by the time we were done it was 8:30pm.
We went home and I put the groceries away. I didn’t know whether to go to sleep or blog. As you can see who won!
