We had no plans for today so I slept in. I got out of bed around 11:30am. I needed a shower. Yesterday was too much in hot weather. I got everything together for my mornng chores. Like set up breakfast . Fruit plates and cutlery, put away dishes. Just stuff.
Then I went for a shower. But that’s not easy we store gallon jugs of water in the shower. I had to remove them and ,my 1 remaining plant my basil. So sad.,
I took my shower it was goo. The different stages of water. It was raining all morning.
I had to remove a basil plant it died. There are 2 left. I consider myself a good gardener. At my big homes I had gardens and all sorts of plants. I don’t have a yard now. A strip of dirt. BUT, those plants grow. I’m upset all my 4 plants died. OK basil is holding. It’s very depressing.
We had bagels and whitefish for breakfast at 2pm. Yup, you read it correctly!
I had time so I read my book. It’s raining just the perfect time to relax and read. I tried to stay away from emails. I tend to get caught up. It’s not a good thing . I get caught up in .
Dinner I made baked salmon with asparagus and sweet potato. We are getting tired of corn on the cob.
We got TV. This might be the first time this summer. It’s pretty crazy. We have the news on and it’s annoying. The same stuff over and over, I don’t want to get political on my blog.
We did take a walk to the garbage dump. It’s up a hill. I’m proud I was able to do it without stopping to rest.
Thank you for stopping and reading to this point. A boring day indeed. But, in reality, sometimes it’s OK.
I’m not happy he didn’t plan a visit to see my VA friends. She called and just hearing her voice was so great taking you back. Love them. I will insist from now on for sure. We go so far back 50 years! Wow!!!!!
