First I’m am so sorry to those who follow my blog for missing 2 days. I’ve been so tired I sit down and fall asleep.
On August 11, we didn’t move. We stayed another night from a 7 hour day on the road. I am not happy about it. The answer is there is no place to stop. I don’t believe it! But, I admit he does quite the research. I know it has to be, we belong to every camping club . I’m still not happy. We did nothing. He worked on the RV tweaking this and that. The only thing I did was make a nice dinner chicken cutlets sweet potato and sprouts.
August 12, another 7 hour day on the road. We left at 9:30am arrived at 4:30pm. I miss the huge mountains. There are tons of trees. At one point, there were these very pretty pink flower trees. We passed over some rivers that are pretty. I tried to read my book but the jumping up and down made it impossible. Luckily, at the last minute I grabbed some cooking magazines to rip out pages of recipes I like. Ya, it’s a thing with me. I like to cook different things and make them my own. We all have our own thing right?
We pass many trucks with these insanely huge metal machines. El knows what each one does. How does he know this stuff? So many huge trucks. Then construction cranes so very high and road building. The smell of tar. How do these workers continue to breathe. I nearly passed out driving by.
The campground we are in are mostly permanent or seasonal RVs. I try to picture myself staying in a campground for a season all summer. I can’t see it. Nor can I see myself in one of those huge buses. They are like $100,000.00 and way up. They all have a car in tow. Plus, it has a motor and everything is electric. The stories! It’s enough with just a trailer.
Anyhow, we hardly had time for dinner. We had to set up and remove the RV. I think we are staying here a few days. Must to laundry at a minimum. So I made mussels in clam sauce. Ones frozen ones in a can and I add my own stuff. I added broccoli and left over Brussel sprouts. By the time it was all done it was going on 8:30pm. We were both tired.
So again I’m so sorry I missed 2 days. I am guessing I may have lost readers. But, thank you everyone so much for coming back and reading this. We will be home in less than 2 weeks. Luv yas
