I had a terrible night’s sleep. I hadn’t heard from my son in a while and I was getting nervous. You can make yourself nuts. I’m usually in control but I lost it.
I got up at 7:30am but could not sleep. As God would have it my son text me and called. Crazy! We had eggs for breakfast. We decided to go for a walk. I thought it would do me good. So we walked the perimeter of the campground then went into the woods around the algae lake. It was so hot. But we kept walking all the way around. I was OK but towards the end we didn’t know where we were , but kept walking. It was bigger than we thought. We ended up walking about 2 miles. Lucky here and there was shade.
My son called in the afternoon. I needed a stiff drink after our conversation. A nice Kentucy mule helped. I made salmon burgers for dinner with rice and broccoli. It was yummo!
I’m shot, we talk about packing up. I am working at it. There is only so much room when it’s closed.
