I added the day only because we have no plans!
We slept late up at 11 am but really it’s 10am. Yesterday was a real workout up and down the mountains.
We went to breakfast at the buffet. The food is good. I had monkey bread with an avacado smear with, red onion and capers and salmon.
Wish I could say that was it! But no, I had a bowl of fruit, and a walnut raisen muffin, a sunny side up egg, and a chocolate croissant., coffee cappuccino and juice.
Then as time passed we went back to our room for a little while. I wrote yesterday’s blog.
We went to the first art auction. No we did not get anything! I hear you all who have been in our home.
We went to the coffee area and I wrote more blog but we ordered specialty coffee.
Oh, then we wen̈t to an art auction. We didn’t love anything but were given several sparkling wine glasses. We sat thru the auction. The prices were high. We didn’t get snything.
Later we to went to an effy jewelry private party. Again lots of drinks. I fell in love with a ring lion face with a green diamond retail $198000. Ha! Oh big fuss I loved it. They had the head retail guy who got it down to $75,000. Yup a bargin, stop i didn’t get it. But absolutely beautiful.
Well we left there and went to dinner. It was nice and different! I had shrimp soup. It taste like liquid shrimp. Then I ordered fish soup. Again taste like shrimp fish. It had shrimp, mussels and clams all small. It was good. More wine.
We went to the show. A man who plays guitar and drums. Then there was a shot to my head from all the wine and i passed out. El had to wake me up. We went to our room to end the day!
